VHSL Banquet- On Wednesday, May 6th, the Valley High School Hockey League hosted its annual banquet at the Berwick Lions Hall. The evening provided an opportunity to celebrate another successful hockey season, as teams presented their individual awards and Vice President Mike Reynolds handed out the league honours.

Before the awards presentation, attendees took time to remember and honour a true pillar of the league, Ben Lacourche. Ben served as an official in the league for many years and also dedicated a long tenure as Referee-in-Chief. Sadly, Ben passed away a few weeks ago, and the league held a moment of silence in his honour.

The evening was a meaningful celebration of both the accomplishments of the season and the lasting impact of those who have helped shape the league over the years.
